Snakes
Sometimes people are like snakes ...
misunderstood,
unappreciated for their beauty and
the important role they play in the world,
shunned,
loathed,
feared,
victims of violence.
Sometimes people are like snakes ...
hoping to be authentic
and trying to live accordingly.
